When driving onto the premises of Knollwood Country, you are immediately taken back by it’s elegant and prestigious, tudor-style club house, as well as it’s beautiful and lush landscaping, surrounded by hills and valleys, sculpted by a vast variety of trees and natural ponds. When I was commissioned to photograph Caroline and Eugene’s wedding, I knew that I would be partaking in an exquisite affair. Hearing that their wedding coordinator would be Dee Dee Hoffman only solidified my expectations. Advance the calendar to a year after I was selected to be their wedding photographer, and my premonition of a gorgeous wedding was, indeed, true! Caroline and Eugene’s wedding had an abundant display of beautiful floral designs and decor inside and out. It was a perfect summer evening that allowed for a picturesque, outdoor ceremony on the rooftop terrace overlooking the championship golf course.
Caroline and Eugene were a terrific couple to photograph. Other than a handful of standard family portraits, and setting up a “first look” for the couple to see each other, I enjoyed the freedom to capture documentary-style moments, hanging out in the background as the story of the day unfolded. With their rich family ties, and surrounded by the love and joy of relatives and friends, I found ample opportunity to photograph emotion-filled moments every minute I was there. There was never a dull moment and the wedding will always be a memorable one. Of course, the day would not have been a success without the all-star cast of wedding vendors that were selected, including:
