David Yarnall has been my faithful second photographer in Michigan for about four years now. In addition to sharing a love for wedding photography, we have another aspect of our lives that we share in common: we both are fathers and we both raised only daughters! During all of these past years of working together, David and I mainly crossed paths on the wedding day. I thought of David mainly as a photographer until this wedding. I was privileged to participate in Tiffany’s wedding as her photographer and see her father in his most important life role. David is a wonderful family man, a husband and a father of four beautiful daughters. I must tell you that it was pure joy for me to not only photograph this wedding, but witness this wonderful family together at this very import event!
Tiffany and Stephen are a wonderful couple, very obviously made to be with one another as husband and wife. From the first moment I laid eyes on the two of them, I knew that they were happy and in love! We met in downtown Lake Orion at a little corner park. This would be the location that Stephen we see his beautiful bride for the first time. After the “first look” and a few portraits on the gazebo, we all headed off to The Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills for the ceremony and reception. The June day could not have been more perfect for an outdoor wedding! After the couple took their vows and were pronounced “husband and wife,” we moved inside the huge church complex to enjoy the reception. After toasts, dinner and cake, the couple mingled with their guests before being sent off for their honeymoon through a gauntlet of sparklers.
